Depending on how you use Musube, we may collect:
- Account information, such as name, email address, login details, and profile information.
- Family and invite information, such as recipient names, relationships, circles, contact details, and invitation status.
- Photos, videos, captions, reactions, comments, and related metadata you choose to add to Musube.
- Support, waitlist, and communication information you send to us.
- Technical and usage information needed to run, secure, debug, and improve the service.
How we use information
We use information to provide and operate Musube, including to:
- Create and manage private family spaces.
- Send invitation, account, and service messages requested through the app.
- Store, organize, display, export, and delete family content based on user actions.
- Provide support, maintain security, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot the service.
- Communicate about waitlist access, product updates, and service notices.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help us host, secure, authenticate, store, message, analyze, or support Musube; when required by law; to protect users and the service; or as part of a business transaction involving Shunya LLC.
Photos, family content, and AI
Your family content belongs to you. Musube is designed for private family sharing, not public social posting. We do not use your photos, videos, or family content to train advertising systems or third-party AI models. We do not use your content to train our own models without explicit opt-in.
Data retention and deletion
Your content stays in Musube for as long as you keep your account active. You can export everything any time and delete your account at any point — when you do, your photos, captions, reactions, and account data are permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days.
Your choices
You can choose what to add to Musube and who to invite. You may request help accessing, exporting, correcting, or deleting your information by contacting us.
Children's privacy
Musube is built for parents to share their children's lives privately. The app itself is for adults — children do not create or operate Musube accounts. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we'll let users know through the app or by email before the changes take effect. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
